How does your dumpster rental service work?
Renting a dumpster is easy. First, choose the dumpster size that fits your project and schedule your delivery. On delivery day, we drop the dumpster off at your location. You fill it up at your own pace, then call or text us when you’re ready for pickup. We’ll haul it away promptly so you can move on with your project.
If we don’t hear from you by the end of your scheduled rental period, we’ll automatically pick up the dumpster on the final day.
Dumpster deliveries happen between 8am and 8pm. While we can’t guarantee an exact delivery time due to unpredictable landfill wait times, we will deliver on the promised day and give you a call or text when we’re on the way.
How do I know what size dumpster I need?
That depends on what you’re working on. A 10-yard dumpster works well for small cleanouts or minor projects, while a 40-yard dumpster is better suited for large renovations or construction jobs.
Not sure? That’s normal. Many customers also request swap-outs during their rental if they end up needing more space. We’re happy to talk through your project and help you choose the right size.
How soon can I get a dumpster delivered?
We often offer delivery within 24–48 hours, depending on availability and location. Same-day delivery may also be possible. If you’re on a tight timeline, give us a call and we’ll do our best to help.
How long can I keep the dumpster?
Our standard rental period is 7 days, but we offer flexible options if you need more time. Just let us know your schedule and we’ll work with you.
How much does a dumpster rental cost?
Pricing depends on the dumpster size, rental length, and location. You can view available sizes and pricing directly in our Dumpster section. We believe in upfront pricing, no surprises.
What can I put in the dumpster?
You can load most common materials, including:
- Household junk
- Construction and renovation debris
- Furniture and mattresses
- Appliances and electronics
We do not accept concrete, dirt, or bricks. Hazardous materials such as chemicals, batteries, tires, and paint are also prohibited.
If a dumpster is severely overloaded with restricted items and cannot be hauled, you’ll be responsible for emptying it and any additional charges.
What if I fill the dumpster and need another one?
It happens all the time. We offer swap-outs, where we pick up your full dumpster and replace it with an empty one. Contact our office to discuss scheduling and pricing.
Do I need to be present for delivery?
Nope. You don’t need to be there when we deliver the dumpster. Just make sure any special placement instructions are shared with us when you book.
Do I need a permit for a dumpster?
If the dumpster is placed on a public street or sidewalk, a permit may be required. Dumpsters placed on private property typically don’t need a permit. If you’re unsure, we can help you check local requirements.
What surfaces can a dumpster be placed on?
We can place dumpsters on pavement, concrete, grass, or dirt, as long as the surface can support the weight of the dumpster and its contents. We use boards during delivery to help protect your property.
Are there space requirements for placing a dumpster?
Yes. We need an area at least 15 feet long and 10 feet wide, roughly the size of a pickup truck or SUV, to safely place the dumpster.
What happens if I exceed the weight limit?
Each dumpster includes a weight allowance. If that limit is exceeded, additional charges may apply. All dumpsters are weighed at the landfill, and any overage will be charged to the card on file.
Am I responsible if the dumpster is damaged?
Normal wear and tear is not your responsibility. However, damage caused by negligence, such as loading with equipment and hitting the sides, may result in repair or replacement charges. For safety reasons, dumpsters should only be loaded by hand, not with machinery.
Do you require a deposit?
Payment is required on or before delivery for all dumpster rentals.
